Hibiscus Double Yellow Butterball is a tender perennial in the Malvaceae family. A possible native to Asia but it is still uncertain exactly where. Growing to 6 feet tall and 5 feet wide this Hibiscus is a stunner in the garden. It likes full sun to part shade in the Summer but will need to brought inside during the Winters. They prefer moist soil but never soggy as this can rot the roots. It is in flower from Spring until late Summer. Zones 10-11
Germination
Soak seeds overnight. Sow seeds the thickness of the seeds on top of the medium and lightly cover. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover and keep temperatures around 65-75F. Germination is in 7-30 days.
